When Will It Be Enough?
If you've ever played football for a decent amount of time odds are you've dreamed you were in the Super Bowl. Even I did with my friends when I was a kid in Idaho. We all have dreamed something up, even just for fun. Some recognize their talents and have that talent nurtured to the point that they rise in their respective fields and sometimes that field is a AstroTurf one that leads all the way to the Super Bowl. If you win that big game, get that promotion, score that dream, you may feel very happy for a while but odds are you'll keep aggressively pursuing more because we always seem to want more.
Almost all humans have a drive within that makes them feel, no matter how high they rise, that it isn't enough. Earning more than minimum wage to wanting to make $3,000 a month then $4,000, then $10,000 or even $100,000. One thing I've learned from meeting people from all over the earth and in so many different careers-- for most it's never enough no matter how much it is because it isn't about the amount, it's about the mind.
Having fifty thousand saved up soon makes us want one hundred thousand which soon leads us to wanting a million which then grows to wanting a multi-millions or even billions. Don't get me wrong here, desiring money and having money is not a problem. No matter what you've been taught, money isn't evil and if you believe it is or that wanting it is bad you won't gain nearly as much of it as you could. That kind of thinking keeps you from it. I have heard so many people say "money is the root of all evil" it isn't.
A lot of good can be done with money and a lot of lives can be touched, minds can be opened and joy can be spread through having it. For the people who feel they have enough and are grateful for it, more manifests. The same goes for people who believe it's coming because there are laws that govern the universe and so many books and world leaders have spoken about this phenomenon that you can find it all over the internet by searching the power of gratitude, creative visualization, and the law of attraction.
Your passion for something is a very powerful tool to help you get it but until we question our intentions and find what will bring us deep meaning and lasting fulfillment we will never feel we have enough. Those who get to the point of feeling they have enough, get there through living in alignment with their soul. Practicing thankfulness, gratitude and above all knowing that love is the most powerful force in the universe can get you in alignment with what truly matters to you. In life, it isn't the records we break, the power we gain, the money we make that gives it meaning. This journey is meaningful, simply because we are here and growing you don't need to make it to there Super Bowl, win a trophy, or make a lot of money to be worthy. You are worthy and it’s already enough, there is so much good that comes from connecting to this truth.
