The Pillars of Wellbeing

In the grand design of life, a strong foundation of self-love and confidence is key. I have written about this extensively in the past and even have some helpful meditations on the subject at YouTube.com/Kaden. However, for this article we are going to focus on what I call - the pillars of wellbeing. This is what comes after the solid foundation is created in my custom coaching model. These four areas of wellness are the ultimate structure that will support our efforts in contribution, creativity, and connection.

It’s time to create your-

LIFE BLUEPRINT

With this method we continue building, while constantly strengthening and refining any weak spots to rise to greater heights. I love training others on these methods starting with a Life Blueprint, to learn more about these methods and create your blueprint-

book a call with us.

So What are the Personal pillars?

Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

Each area is a critical component in the structural integrity of our lives, and it is only by nurturing each that we can elevate our existence to its highest potential.

Muscles are built through tiny tears. when we feel broken, we are just building our strength.

Physical Wellbeing: The Foundation of Vitality

Physical wellbeing is often looked at as the most important pillar but instead of comparing each pillar I find it beneficial to see the significance of each pillar in our lives. Still, being healthy physically and having the energy to show up fully is extremely important in supporting our relationships and aspirations. This pillar is about more than just fitness; it’s the overall health and maintenance of our bodies.

With each of these areas, rate where you currently are from 1-10 (one being very low- ten being as good as it could be). Rating yourself now will give you a baseline, then you can find areas to improve over the next 30 days and rerate yourself in the future and track your progress.

*If any part of this is overwhelming or you would rather not Rate Yourself, there is no pressure here. it’s also always okay to seek help or the expertise of a therapist, coach, or close friend. We all have ebb and flow in our lives and it’s okay to work when you are ready for it and also rest and be gentle with yourself when you need it.

With that said, for those who want to move forward-

Create an environment that supports your emotional wellbeing. have a space in your home where you can recharge and reconnect within.

Rate your physical wellbeing 1-10 after considering these three areas:

  • Strength and Stamina: Can you engage in physically demanding activities without undue fatigue?

  • Nutrition: Are you fueling your body with the right nutrients and healthy foods daily?

  • Rest: Do you get enough sleep and relaxation to recover and rejuvenate?

Emotional Wellbeing: The Walls of Resilience

Emotional wellbeing is the capacity to handle life’s rollercoaster with some ease and the ability to recalibrate. It’s about feeling the full spectrum of emotions while maintaining balance. The methods I teach for strengthening this area are about embracing emotions, understanding the connections between emotions and thoughts, and increasing emotional resilience to provide protection and support.

Evaluate your emotional wellbeing by considering:

  • Stability: How well do you cope with stress and adversity?

  • Expression: Are you comfortable sharing your feelings?

  • Connection: Do you have fulfilling relationships that offer emotional support?

Learning from the greats who came before will inspire and build greatness within. read brilliant books to spend time with visionaries whose words stand the test of time.

Mental Wellbeing: The Roof of Reason

Mental wellbeing is the intellectual canopy that shelters us from the storms of confusion and indecision. It encompasses our thoughts, our decision-making processes, clarity, and our ability to focus. A sound mind is tremendously important for navigating life’s complexities and making wise decisions.

The decisions we make today can have a profound effect on our lives, these decisions can also compound. A wise business decision could pay returns for the rest of your life. For instance- investing in coaching for an area of your life could save you years of challenges.

Assess your mental wellbeing through:

  • Clarity: Is your mind clear and is it easy for you to make good decisions?

  • Learning: Are you continually seeking knowledge and understanding?

  • Problem-Solving: Can you effectively tackle challenges that arise from a calm state?

Spiritual Wellbeing: The Windows to the Soul

Spiritual wellbeing is cultivated when we allow love and light into our lives. It’s not necessarily rigidly religious; it’s about feeling connected to a larger mission and the world around us. It’s feeling united with your higher self and higher power.

Reflect on your spiritual wellbeing by considering:

  • Purpose: Do you currently feel a sense of direction and meaning in your life?

  • Harmony: Are you at peace with yourself and your surroundings?

  • Gratitude: Do you appreciate yourself, your body, this world and the beauty of life?

The Architecture of a Well-Lived Life

By attending to each of these four areas, we construct a life that is not only structurally sound but also pleasing and functionally fulfilling. This architectural approach to wellbeing is not just about building a life; it’s about crafting a masterpiece, a home that supports souls who will experience more joy with every moment lived within its walls.

Looking over your scores what areas are you excelling in? The ones you can celebrate.

Which areas could use some work? Take some time to think up a few things you could start doing or stop doing to improve these areas?

As you continue to move through life, remember that you are both the architect and the inhabitant of your wellbeing. With each choice and action, you have the power to fortify and Enrich existence.

build wisely and live fully.
