Masaru Emoto
Masaru Emoto, born on July 22, 1943, in Yokohama, Japan, was a pioneering figure whose work dived into the realm of water’s responsiveness to human emotions. He embarked on a path that would blend the boundaries between science and spirituality. He faced a lot of critics for his research but also gained a lot of praise from the spiritual community and opened minds to the power of intention and energy which I believe is a good thing.
I am not here to convince anyone of the findings but simply to share some of his profound quotes and to say that everything is energy and as we pour good energy into the world I believe that is what returns to us amplified. My intention is to spread good energy to all of you.
Emoto’s interesting work began with his “Messages from Water” series, where he presented a collection of ice crystal photographs. These images were central to his hypothesis that water could be influenced by human thoughts and words, changing its physical form.
Positive affirmations, according to Emoto, led to aesthetically pleasing crystals, while negative sentiments resulted in distorted formations.
His book “The Hidden Messages in Water” found its way onto the New York Times bestseller list, echoing his belief in the power of intention and its physical manifestations. Emoto’s photographic endeavors captured the delicate beauty of water crystals, which he believed were altered by emotional stimuli. His theories reached a wider audience through his appearance in the documentary “What the Bleep Do We Know!?”
For the remainder of this article I will be sharing some of Dr. Masaru Emoto’s thoughts via some of my favorite quotes from him. The next time you are about to have some water send it gratitude and positive thoughts and then enjoy, I know I will be doing this more often now.
“If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.”

“No one particular religion has been able to secure the exclusive rights for the power of prayer. No matter who you are, we all have the ability to take advantage of this amazing and wonderful power. More and more people are resonating with this understanding, and this could result in a more wonderful future for mankind.

“I believe my research "validates" is the idea that ‘the water holds and transmits information.’ I believe that the more we properly understand water, the more we can expand our consciousness into other dimensions. The validation for me personally has been invaluable because to be honest I could not sense the invisible world through my own sensibilities. When people would speak of the inner world of our psychology I would wonder if that was even possible, but through seeing how our thoughts have an observable effect on water I no longer doubt and it's because of this validation.”
